ABOUT
I started classical piano when I was little, until I discovered jazz at LJSS and entered the Hot Clube school. I participated in the Lisbon Jazz Festival from the age of 16, graduated with Maria João and went on Erasmus in Paris. At 20 I joined the European Jazz Master's Program and lived, studied and performed in Amsterdam, Berlin and Copenhagen. I did a residency in a jazz club in Tokyo, and now I live in Barcelona.
I love my various projects with different levels of responsibility, but the same level of dedication: Canções de Ilha Deserta, The Bop Collective, Just in Trio, Extraño Weys, Gramophone Allstars Big Band, but it was time to release my first album in my own name. My music and my intentions are ready to go on stage, which is where I feel the most like me.
