TEACHING
I currently teach jazz singing at the Superior School of Taller de Músics in Barcelona. In Lisbon I taught at Escola de Jazz Luiz Villas-Boas from 2018 to 2021 and I have also given private lessons and taught in the schools Lugar da Música, Interartes, and Brisa de Sons.
I learned how to teach with my own teachers. I had the priviledge of learning from diferent methods, exercises, reflections and pieces of advice that influenced me through the years. I found the passion of learning music and finding my voice with Mariana Norton, Joana Espadinha, Maria João, and studied technique and language with Lieve Geuens, Lydia Van Dam e Judy Niemack.

I'm interested in making my students passionate about the history of the music they are making. In teaching them to explore their instrument and criativity knowing the depths and context that inspires it.
I'm interested in their search for versatility, for the maximum number of resources possible, so that in each moment it's easy to sing exactly as they wish. In their being able to speak this music language as any instrumentalist and to improvise knowing the masters, but searching for their own way, twisting and reshaping what they learn from them.
I'm interested in having a conversation about motivacion, nerves, ambition and fear,in order to support them in finding their success.
